نظّمت مفوضية الأمم المتحدة لحقوق الإنسان بالتعاون مع مركز حقوق السجين في نقابة المحامين في طرابلس، لبنان،  ورشة عمل حول " القانون الدولي لحقوق الإنسان والتزامات لبنان" حيث استعرض زميلنا علاء قاعود المنظومة الدولية لحقوق الإنسان بما في ذلك الاتفاقيات الرئيسية لحقوق الإنسان والمقررين الخواص والاستعراض الدوري الشامل والتزامات لبنان بهذا الشأن واهمية العمل الحقوقي في تعزيز وحماية حقوق الإنسان، مشدداً على الدور الهام لنقابة المحامين والعاملين في مجال شؤون العدالة في حماية هذه الحقوق والمطالبة بتطبيقها.
